A Short Stay

I sought the Lord and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.

We may still have troubles and fears, but the Lord has definitely heard our prayers and he has allowed Noah to come home!

Noah's bloodwork results this morning came back with an even lower creatinine level! It's amazing how quickly it dropped to the level that they want it to be at!
Since his levels dropped, they decided to take Noah off of IV fluid. Because there was nothing physically keeping Noah tied to bed, they were willing to send Noah home with a catheter. We need to go for repeat bloodwork on Tuesday morning to check his levels.

This hospital stay has caused so many emotions to surface. These emotions don't disappear simply because we are now at home.
Noah is very frustrated with needing to come home uncomfortable with a catheter, which is completely understandable.
Rob and I are learning once again that we need to advocate for Noah. There are differing opinions on why this is happening. Kidney doctors think this is a bladder issue and the bladder doctor doesn't think it is. We also have our own opinions and will need to monitor how things go and not be afraid to speak up.

We are so thankful for a short hospital stay and thankful for all of the prayers lifted on our behalf. They may not feel like much, but they are!
The distractions of friends and work for Danielle, Jordan, Curtis and Levi were also helpful, as were the meal and cinnamon buns that we delivered!
The communion of saints is a blessed thing!
