Once Again

 Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.
They will sore on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40: 28-31

I am so thankful that we have a God who gives us strength and helps us not grow weary in the tasks and places that we are.

Noah is feeling better and has been eating again!
We were hopeful that Noah's high creatinine levels would be an easy fix with IV fluids and a catheter to keep his bladder empty. Unfortunately, this does not seem to be the case: Noah's levels were still high this morning.

As a result, the doctors are concerned about a possible rejection and want to do another kidney biopsy tomorrow.
This is difficult news as this was Noah's fear coming to the hospital.
They are going to have a different specialist perform this biopsy, in a room equipped with all the imaging machines so that they can ensure that they get a good biopsy, from the top portion of Noah's kidney.
Once we have those results we will fund out a plan. Until then, Noah and I are still in the hospital.

We've had a lot of snow, and it's been nice to watch it from our hospital room.
The kids had a snow day today, which was nice and some of them have plans to go skiing tomorrow.

Here is a song that I've been enjoying lately: Travis Clark - Holds It All
