Birthday at Home

 Isaiah 44:5

This one will say, ‘I am the Lord's,’
    another will call on the name of Jacob,
and another will write on his hand, ‘The Lord's,’
    and name himself by the name of Israel.”

What a wonderful reminder that we belong to the Lord! This is such a comfort, especially during uncertain times.

Today was a wonderful day at home!
Being able to sleep in our beds was very nice. Noah slept in until almost 11:00am! We had a relaxing day, the boys had friends over and I did regular 'Mom work' at home, which was nice after being away for 3 days.
Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes for myself! We celebrated by going out for supper together as a family and then the boys spent time watching the Canada vs. USA Four Nations hockey game.

By 5:00 we still had not heard from the nephrologist yet so I called the hospital. They had not received any biopsy results yet and do not expect to hear anything until later tonight.
Noah is scheduled to be at the hospital tomorrow morning for an MRI. This appointment is not related fo his hospital stay (it is for his tethered spinal cord). Since he is going to the hospital anyway, he will go an hour before his appointment and have bloodwork done to check his creatinine levels. The results from this should be back by the time his MRI is done and if the levels are still high(er), then he will need to stay. If not, he can come home and we go back for a clinic appointment on Wednesday morning.
Noah is feeling much better and we pray that this is a positive sign and that the news tomorrow will be encouraging.
