Sunday Update

Things started out rough for Noah, but got better as the day went on, things got better.

Noah was in a fair bit of pain this morning. He had a lot of excess fluid in his belly and it was making him uncomfortable. They called in some doctors to take a look at things and we were reassured that this is normal and that by changing the amount of IV fluids that Noah takes and really making sure that he puts out enough too, things are ok.
Noah is now on a pain pump, so he can control when he gets medication. His afternoon has gone much better!

Doctors are still happy with the new kidney and creatinine levels continue to drop, which is exactly what we need.

Noah had a visit from Danielle, Jordan, Curtis and Levi late this afternoon (with Opa providing taxi service!). This was so good for all of us!
Noah appreciated the sound of his siblings around him and didn't want them to leave. Goodbyes were difficult and involved many tears!
Noah was given a wash and made comfortable in his bed. After that and an emotional visit I pray he sleeps well tonight.

Rob celebrates his birthday today! It's hard not being there with him, to celebrate and to help.
Rob is doing well at home, enjoying being in his usual space. The time change threw his pain medication schedule off, so hopefully he can get that back on track.

This verse was shared with me today and it was just what I needed:
Matthew 6:8 - 'My Father knows the things I have need of before I ask Him'.
