One Step at a Time

 Psalm 18 :35,36 - You have given me the shield of your salvation and your right hand supported me, and your gentleness made me great.

You have a wide place for my steps under me, and my feet did not slip.

It has been amazing to see how much Noah has improved since his move put of the PCCU!

In just a few days time Noah has had tubes,  stickers and a catheter removed. He has sat on the edge of the bed and even stood!  He's even doing his exercises without me! He is eating and drinking and generally in good spirits.
The nurses have commented on how much he has been smiling and talking to them!
Noah's pain meds continue to be reduced daily and he no longer has a pump. 

All of this is not to say that there haven't been challenges. Each step on this journey that the Lord has placed us on has come with its own set of hardships.
Right now the frustration is that this is taking so long and Noah just wants to be home. The doctors are hoping that Noah can be discharged midweek this coming week! Noah is definitely taking this to heart and is working hard to help make this a reality. We pray that he will be patient and let his body be ready to come home before they let him leave.

I was given the opportunity to go home for supper on Friday night! This was difficult because it was hard to see Noah upset that he couldn't come with me, but it was so wonderful to spend time with Rob, Danielle, Jordan, Curtis and Levi!
Noah had fun too! Decorating his room.with cards from school and watching a Toronto Maple Leafs game with ice cream!
