Job 29: 11-13
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.Today we were once again humbled and reminded that God is in control.
Noah was hopefully going to have gone home today, but his bloodwork results showed that some of his numbers were higher than they have been. As a result, they want to do repeat bloodwork in the morning, which meant that we had to stay.
This news was met with much disappointment, frustration, anger and sadness.
But, it is a reminder that we can make plans, but God is the one in control and for that we can, and must, be thankful.
Noah has been doing well! He has been able to drink the 4+ litres that he has been required to drink, his appetite has grown, he's walking and trying to stay busy. But he's getting bored!
We long for the day that we will all be home together and we pray for patience and trust as we wait on the Lord's good plan for us.

It's very disappointing but best to be certain before leaving the hospital in order to avoid any setbacks. Sending hugs.
