Monday

Today was a good day for Noah!

Overnight they ended up giving him regular infusion of pain meds on top of his being able to use the pump as needed and this really helped!

He moved his arms a lot and the nurses helped him stretch his legs a few times. He was more awake and talkative, even admitting that he's bored. We got an iPad so he can watch shows he likes (daytime tv doesn't offer much!).

We've had some hard conversations together. Slow and steady is the pace he is on, but he sees pictures of Dad standing and smiling and wishes that he could too. He also doesn't like it that I leave at night for a few hours of sleep. This breaks my heart and it's so hard. He needs me, but if I don't get enough sleep, I won't be much help. 😢

His night nurse has been amazing and Noah is already getting quite the treatment. Including having his hair washed! He's going to feel amazing tonight!

Rob has had a good day at home as well. He's getting the hang of taking his medication on time, and quickly learns why he needs to if he doesn't. He's had a few visitors and now that his parents have gone back home, his brother Gerald is taking care of him, along with Danielle and Jordan. They will be well taken care of, and well fed!

Once again, thank you to everyone sending messages. Whether emails, calls or texts, they are all read and appreciated even if they are not responded to.

2 Corinthians 1:3-5 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
