A New Morning

 I thought I would share my morning devotion from yesterday before giving an update.

Embracing Peace Amid Chaos

Noah had a great night and he's doing well this morning!

They kept him sedated over night and he slept well! He's producing an incredible amount of urine, and it's all draining! The catheter near his kidney is also draining excess fluid well so Noah's tummy looks amazing.

They plan to keep him sedated for awhile and I will do my best to update when he's awake.

Rob had a rough night last night, with his pain actually being the worst it's ever been. He is really hoping that they figure out his pain medication soon. He has also been a bit fuzzy with the medication that he has been on, so he actually doesn't remember everything. He still hopes to come home later this afternoon. 

With Noah being sedated, I was able to leave the hospital to sleep in our room at the Ronald McDonald House (which is an amazing place and deserves it's own separate post at a later date). I was able to sleep for 8 hours, shower and eat breakfast and pack a lunch to bring with me for the day.

Danielle has been at a basketball tournament, so she has been distracted and also surrounded by support.

Jordan is at a friend's house and he's been kept busy there as well, with hockey on Friday night included.

Curtis and Levi are at their cousin's house and they've been kept busy there! Although Curtis is anxious to come home, he is looking forward to a fishing trip today!

Thank you all for your continued prayer and support. We're still on the road to recovery and it's already shown us how unpredictable it can be. Knowing how surrounded we have bee  is such a blessing.
