Here are the emails that we sent our yesterday...
Sent at 2:00pm:
Noah came to the hospital quite willing, allbeit hungry, this morning.
We enjoyed time with him in the fantastic toyroom and Rob was even able to gown up and take Noah into the operating room.
We received news that surgery is going well, but will be longer than planned and is also more invasive than we were hoping for as they were unable to perform the surgery laproscopically as hoped - meaning rather than a couple of small cuts, Noah is going to have a large one. This also means that recovery will be harder as well as longer.
Please continue to keep Noah in your prayers, as well as all of us, as this will change how we were expecting things to go.
We will continue to keep you up to date.

Good evening.
We are so thankful to let you know that Noah has been out of surgery since 3:00 and is now sleeping upstairs in his room.
All in all surgery went well. The surgeon did tell us that this was the most difficult surgery of this kind that he has ever had to perform. This is saying a lot considering how well known of a urologist this doctor is...but really, are we surprised? things with Noah are never straight forward.
Noah is doing well. He has already enjoyed a popsicle, watched tv and enjoyed a new story book.
The hospital recovery will now be longer. Rather than 1 night, we have been told to expect at least 3.
This is of course disappointing, but we know that it is what Noah needs.
We are so thankful for the care Noah is able to receive and pray that he will bounce back fairly quickly.
