Wow...summer has come and gone! too quickly!
The LORD has blessed us these past few months and things have been going smoothly. We've enjoyed a summer filled w/ swimming lessons, VBS, camping and just being together.
We've also enjoyed good health! something we're truly thankful for.
So much time has gone by with Noah being healthy...it's hard to imagine that he is scheduled for surgery again next week (Wednesday, Sept. 20).
It's a minor surgery - compared to some of his other ones - but it's still surgery. The surgery is for his testes ( I know that one day Noah will be so embarrassed about how much information others know about him!)
This surgery is typically a day surgery, but considering how many complications Noah has had in the past, he will be staying overnight for monitoring. And...Noah is rather excited about having a 'sleepover' at the hospital! Hopefully this will still be true when the day arrives. He's made a lot of friends on the paediatric floor at Victoria Hospital and I know that they'll be happy to see him again and he will fully enjoy turning on the charm for them. :)
After telling Noah, and Danielle and Jordan about this upcoming surgery, no one really questioned this. Noah was excited when I mentioned it a few weeks back and this morning, Jordan asked why Noah needed surgery. We then explained where they would be going for this time and that was the end of it.
It's amazing how Danielle and Jordan are used to Noah having surgery. It's been a long time, but it's not unusual for them. A little bit sad, but also a blessing that they are so trusting and that their minds accept what happens . What a task we have been given in using this trust to teach our children about our Heavenly Father.
I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 34:1

Thanks for the update Anne! We'll be praying for you and Noah as you prepare for this procedure. Great pictures of the kids! Looks like lots of happy memories were made this summer. :)
