It is so amazing how each day with Noah differs from the next.
Although this will be short, it is at least a factual update on how things are going with Noah.
Noah has been OFF of oxygen since Sunday morning! We were shocked when we came to the hospital and were told that his oxygen was no longer on, and yet were very pleased. He has been holding his own since then and has not needed it back on.
Since Saturday Noah has a mat in his room that he can play on. This has been such a blessing for him. Not only does it give him something to do and tire him out, it also helps to keep the mucus in his lungs loose so that Noah can maintain a healthy oxygen level and be able to cough.
We are thankful that Noah's lungs are now much clearer and he is no longer coughing.
Noah was not eating or drinking very well in hospital, so he was on a tube feed (since his IV came out). He has been weened off of the tube feed and that has made him eat more and today he drank a lot!
Although we are eager to have Noah home, we need him to be ready and be able to stay home when he does return home.
It is amazing to see how happy Noah continues to remain throughout all of this. We can certainly learn much from this little child!
