So Quickly...

'The name of the LORD is a strong tower;
The righteous run to it and are safe.'

Proverbs 18:10

Happy New Year everyone! We pray that this new year will be filled with the peace of our Lord and with His rich blessings for each of you.

We had a blessed Christmas and started the year 2013 off well, being at home all together.
For those of you that have seen Noah during the last 2 weeks, you know that he has been doing really well. He is eating and drinking lots, is walking around furniture and saying real words like crazy. It has been such a blessing to be at home, getting back into somewhat of a routine (even as Rob tore into our kitchen!).

It is amazing how quickly things change with Noah.
This morning he woke up crying, which is unusual for him. He was covered in poop so I started to change him. When I got his bag off I found that his loop of bowel had partly sunk into his belly. This meant that poop was unable to come out properly and it was causing Noah a fair bit of pain.
After calling his surgeon, I brought him to emerge and as I write this Noah is in the operating room.
They are going to seperate his bowels so there will be 2 pieces out onto his tummy. While he is in the operating room they are going to look at the abcess on his bum, which has been coming back, to see why it is not healing and what they can do to help it heal.

This is not where we expected to be at this point. We are grieved that Noah is going through this and yet we rejoice for the 2 weeks that we could have with him at home.  We ask for your prayers again at this time.
