Here's an email that we sent out to family on Monday night:
Tonight, for the first time in too long, we are home with all 5 of our family members! and how sweet it is!
The excitement that filled our house when Danielle and Jordan came home to find Noah home is absolutely priceless.
We did not think that Noah was going to be coming home today after all b/c overnight he was vomitting again. An xray showed that Noah's bowels were partially obstructed (blocked), but thankfully with more fluids he was able to pass the blockage and clear his bowels out.
They allowed Noah to eat right away this morning and he ate and drank well and was very happy.
Because his IV meds were finished today and he did so well, despite being sick overnight, the surgeon felt that he could still come home.
Noah is on a leave-of-absence from his hospital room, so if we need to go back in the next 48 hours we can go straight to his room and avoid emerge. We are very happy with this arrangement for it offers a peace of mind.
We are so thankful to have Noah home and pray that it may be a long stay this time.
Blog update to follow eventually, but I'm going to enjoy my family first tomorrow!
