On Tuesday afternoon we were blessed to be able to bring Noah home. He had been doing very well in hospital and with the picc line in we were able to set up home care to continue his IV meds.
There was much confusion with getting that all set up, but things were running and Noah was receiving his meds, which is all that matters!
Noah was so happy to be at home and we were so happy to have him back. This was just a short taste of 'normal' life for on yesterday (Wednesday) morning we again had to bring Noah back to emerge and he will most likely be admitted again.
Noah was eating really well at home but he was not stooling (obviously a major concern). Overnight Noah also vomited, which we did not realize until this morning.
After calling Noah's surgeon directly (she is wonderful!) we were told to bring him to emerge.
When breaking this news to Danielle and Jordan, Jordan's whole face and body dropped and he said 'but me miss Noah'. We all feel the same way.
Please uphold us in your prayers.
'Hear my prayer, O LORD; listen to my plea for mercy.' Psalm 86: 6
