These past fews days have been rough ones for Noah. He was very uncomfortable, his stomach bloated due to all the gas and stool in his bowels. He was not happy at all and leary of anyone that walked into his room that was not Rob or I. It was a very tough few days, for Noah and for us as his family. Even the doctors were concerned that he did not seem to be improving.

It has been determined that Noah did not have a bladder infection, nor an infection in his blood stream. Because of this he was taken off of the anibiotics to cover those and was placed on a second antibiotic that is used to treat C-diff.

Almost overnight Noah seemed to turn a corner. Yesterday (Thursday) when I went to visit Noah he smiled at me! and we spent the day playing, reading and Noah jabbered up a storm!
His bloating has gone down considerably and his appetite has returned (although he is still only allowed clear fluids, much to his dismay!).

It did my heart good to see Noah so happy! What an awesome God we have!
We know that Noah is not out of the woods yet, nor is he here at home with us, yet we can see improvement and praise the LORD that He is watching over Noah.

It has been said of Rob and I (by hospital staff) that we are the most calm and easy going parents that they know, taking things in stride and going with the flow. We may appear this way on the outside, while inside we are filled with pain and struggle. We know that this is by God's grace that we are able to appear this way and thank Him for this small opportunity to witness to His strength and power in us.
