We are now, once again, trying to get back into the 'hospital routine'. We have basically gone back to where we were when we left, except that this time around it is much harder to do. Danielle and Jordan are missing Noah terribly and stress levels are high.
We are happy to report that last night at dinner time Noah was moved from Critical Care up to the Ward. Many of the nurses were shocked to see us back so soon - happy yet not under these circumstances.
Noah's bowels have been flushed 2 times now, which has helped a great deal in clearing them out. He has also had a contrast study done to determine if there are any kinks, twists or leaks in his bowels and we were very relievd when things looked normal and as they should. This means that Noah does not need another surgery for this!
What they believe has happened is that upon coming home, Noah got a bladder infection and b/c of the stress his bowels had been under with 2 surgeries and c-diff, this bladder infection was enough to shut his bowels down again. On top of this Noah was not on his laxative and became very constipated.
We are also thankful that we brought Noah in to emerge before his blood became infected.
We pray that with Noah's regualar meds being given and the correct antibiotics given for the bladder infection, he will soon return to his happy self.
No news has been given about Noah coming home, but we are ok with that b/c we want him to stay in here till everthing is fully under control and working properly so that this doesn't happen again.

Oh, Anne. I cannot imagine the roller coaster ride you and your family are on. These are not easy times. However, knowing Who is in control of the roller coaster sure is comforting. We pray that you and your husband may be surrounded by His love. That you may be given the strength, wisdom and encouragment needed during these stressful times. We pray also for Danielle and Jordan, that things may go smoother for them during these transitions. And we pray a lot for Noah and his health. May all of you feel God's nearness in every up and down of each and every day.
