Infection

'Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord'. Psalm 31:24

Noah has perked up a little bit today. He still hasn't given any smiles, but his protests are welcome at this point!
Even his surgeon admitted to be being very worred about Noah yesterday. She called the hospital at 10:30pm to see how he was doing and would have come in later herself to check, but couldn't. Praise the LORD for great and attentive medical staff!

Not all of Noah's test results have come back yet. We are disappointed to say that Noah does indeed have c-diff (a hospital-born super-bug). He has started antibiotics for this and we pray that it relieves his symptoms and clears this bug quickly.
Due to this infection, we now have to suit up when we see Noah and especially when we touch him. It also means that Danielle and Jordan are unable to come visit Noah, b/c we do not want them to get this infection. This will not be well received, as they have been waiting for days to come back and see Noah. Each day without him at home gets harder for them to take and we pray that they will be able to understand, at least in a small degree, the reason for this.

We have been reminded that Noah is in the hands of our Heavenly Father and we entrust Noah to His skillful hands and watchful eye.
Thank you all for your continued support and reminders to remain strong and hold fast to the promises of our faithful and loving Father. We need them!
