Bumps in the Road

Today has been a long and trying day for Noah (and I cannot lie, for me as his mother also).

As I mentioned this morning, Noah has not been feeling well. Today again he is not feeling well and is not himself at all - he is very grumpy and sleepy.
This afternoon he also spiked a fever.
We spent 4 hours this afternoon going for an ultrasound and xray, having blood work done, stool and urine samples done and a change of cathater done as well. This was a very exhausting 4 hours for Noah and yet he trucked through it like the trooper that he is and has been sleeping for the past hour and a half.

Noah's ultrasound and xray showed a lot of gas in his bowels, which is likely making him uncomfortable as he needs to pass this.
At the very least, Noah now has a bladder infection. They are also testing for
c-diff and checking to see if Noah's blood has an infection in it.
Because of this we have now been moved to isolation. Which will also make for longer days as it is at the far end of the hallway and there is no TV in this room to help distract Noah.

Please pray that Noah may regain his strength and his health; and for us as family that we may have strength and patience through all of this as well.
