On Monday we celebrated a blessed milestone. Our little Noah turned ONE!
All that we went through this time last year: the waiting, the unknown, the anxiety, etc. feels like ages ago and at the same time just moments. I have to admit that it was a bit of an emotional day for me.
An awful lot has happened in the past year: many hospital visits, tears, laughter and smiles. And at the end of it all, we are able to stand here, at this blessed occasion and praise our Heavenly Father that Noah has been with us for 1 year and that he continues to grow, learn and thrive.
Noah has been fighting a cold, which turned into pneumonia for 5 weeks now. We’ve taken him in to emerge 3 times for it and are thankful that each time he was able to come home with us. It is not easy to see him, as it can still be a battle for him to breathe sometimes and he coughs an awful lot.
Noah can now roll! scoot backwards! do a 360 on his tummy! and he has a tooth!
We know that Noah’s trials are far from over and yet we also know that with the help of our Lord and Saviour we will be able to have the courage and strength to carry on.
