‘Rejoice in the LORD always; again I will say, Rejoice.’ Philippians 4:4

After spending 3 weeks in the hospital, this past Friday we were able to take Noah home! Once his tubes came out, Noah seemed to get better by leaps and bounds rather than steps. He was moved up to the ward from PCCU on Tuesday and was kept there for his feeds to be monitored and for some test results to come back. Since Noah was there anyway, we decided to try to get some upcoming appointments done to save us more trips into London once he came home.

Now that he is home it is unbelievable how well he is doing. He is SUCH a happy little boy, always full of smiles. He is such a curious one, taking in the world around and rarely missing a movement. He eats a lot and still sleeps through the night! (I’m sure being in the hospital, woken up every 4 hours to be poked and prodded, he was ready to be home to have uninterrupted sleep!).

We are so thankful to have him home with us, to get back to our normal and be able to enjoy life together as a family of 5. God has been gracious to us, giving Noah the care that he needed and providing us with all we stood in need of to carry on each and every day. We pray that the Lord will continue to grant Noah strength and health and us the faith and strength we need to take care of him, as well as Danielle and Jordan.

Noah is home from the hospital just in time for us to be home together for a few days before Rob goes in for surgery to have his gallbladder removed. He had a major attack just under a year ago and although we were hoping that things would be better after that, Rob continues to feel tension there and lives with the sorry of another ‘attack’. It is supposed to be a quick surgery, with Rob coming home the same day and we pray that things will go smoothly and that he will recover well and be able to return to his everyday tasks. And I look forward to being able to cook without worrying that this will be the meal that will cause him pain! Pea soup here we come!
