Update

We would like to thank you all for the emails of encouragement and prayer.
It is not easy to see Noah in the hospital, hooked up to all kinds of things again; to have our routine thrown out of whack again. And yet we know that in this too, the LORD is in control and He has a perfect plan for us and for Noah. We pray that all of us may find comfort and peace in this knowledge.

Noah is still in Pediatric Critical Care, and he is stable. They received some results yesterday morning and determined that Noah has an infection in his sinus and adnoids. So we need to suit up when we go in to visit him - gown, gloves and mask.
Noah's left lung was starting to get fluid in it as well and they are now suctioning his lungs at least every 3 hours to help clear things up. As of this morning they noticed that his lungs were able to handle more pressure than before, which means that they are clearing up a bit.
They are trying to maintain Noah's oxygen saturation numbers 92 and higher and they've been adjusting the amount of oxygen they give him - anywhere from 30-50%, which is much better than the 100% that he was on in the beginning.

Noah looks very peaceful and very well rested. He is still sedated, enough that he will settle after being handled and this is allowing him to get the rest he so desperately needs.
We truly have been blessed with such a well equipped hospital so close to home!
