Encouragement

Things have been busy around here, but they are going well!

About 2 weeks ago now Noah had a 'Developmental Follow-up' appointment. They checked to see how well Noah is developing: his movements, how he can hold his head up, follow movement, etc. And they were very encouraged by everything that Noah is able to do!
After this appointment, I think I may have cried. It was SUCH a relief to go to an appointment and hear such positive news. Considering all that Noah has gone through, and all the obstacles he has (eg. no stomach muscle) it is truly a blessing that he is as mobile as he is and we can see the hand of God at work in this little wonderful boy. He turly is a blessing!

We continue to go for almost weekly appointments, but that's ok because this has become our normal and for some appointments I take Danielle and Jordan with me and make an outing of it. They too need to be included in Noah's life and visit to the doctor are a part of it.

Of course, we all have days and moments in our lives when we feel that we have been given more than we can handle. We often say (to ourselves, or to each other) that the Lord will not give us more than we can handle and I recently read a thought provoking article on this and thought I would share it with you all. Click here to read it.
May we all look to the Lord for the peace and guidance we stand in need of for each and every day.
